General Controls Hydramotor Gas Valve AH4 / V710, AH8 / V710 and AH14 / V710 on stock

The AH4 High-Low-Off actuator is operated by two independent SPST line voltage controllers which provide an on-off safety circuit. The Hydramotor Ah4 are three-position push-type, self-contained, electrohydraulic linear actuators. It features an electronic controler for accurate positioning. The V710 valve body is supplied with either a linear or parabolic guide having linear flow characteristics for best control performance in the High-Low-Off control system. The V710 Valve body is watertight. The combination can be mounted in any position.

The Hydramotor AH8 / V710 has a safety shutoff and proportioning control with low fire positioning in one unit. It is an integral transformer, provides simplified and is less costly wiring. The AH8 has a mechanical low fire adjustment which is made externally while actuator is energized. The AH8/V710 actuator must be mounted in the upright position. The Hydramotor Gas Valve AH8 / V710 is a proportioning control with low fire positioning. It is a line voltage actuator which permits limit and safety controls to be wired directly into line voltage power circuit. The Hydramotor AH8 provides adjustable low fire positioning and proportioning control between low and high fire positions. It is a modulating, push-type, self-contained and electrohydraulic linear actuator.

The Hydramotor AH14 / V710 actuator has a separate on-off and is electro-hydraulic. It is for use in conjunction with safety shut-off valves in semi-automatic gas-fired single burner, boiler and furnace applications.

These valves consists primarily of two components: the AH actuator and the V710 valve body.

Hydramotor Gas Valves are with or without valve seal overtravel interlock (FM Proof of closure). For on-off main line gas control.

Slow or fast opening models with spring return shutoff of less than one second for boilers, furnaces, ovens and all types of gas-fired commercial  and industrial burners.

ASCO Controls Solenoid Valves

The solenoid is the electromagnetic part of a valve. ASCO Controls offers the worlds largest selection of 2-way, 3-way and 4-way solenoid valves, designed to handle the most any fluid control applications.


There are different solenoid valves available:

ASCO 2-Way Solenoid Valves: The have one inlet and one outlet, and are used to permit and shut off fluid flow. The two types of operations are “Normally Closed” and “Normally Open”.

ASCO 3-Way Solenoid Valves: They have three pipe connections and two orifices. When one orifice is open, the other is closed and vice versa. 3-way solenoid valves are commonly used to alternately apply pressure to and exhaust pressure from a valve actuator or a single acting cylinder. The solenoid valve can be normally closed, normally open or universal.

ASCO 4-Way Solenoid Valves: They have four or five pipe connections. One pressure inlet, two cylinder ports providing pressure to double acting cylinder or actuator, and one or two outlets to exhaust pressure from the cylinders.

Direct Mount ASCO Valves: These are standard 3-way and 4-way solenoid valves whose NPT pipe connections and mounting configurations have been replaced by NAMUR mounting configuration. It can be mounted directly to an actuator without the use of hard piping or tubing.

Dust Collector Valves: These are high-flow fast-opening 2-way RedHat valves, pilot valves, pilot valve enclosures and bulkhead fittings that have been specially designed for use in dust collector systems.

Group Mounted Position Valves: These are 2-way, 3-way and 4-way 2-position valves that are designed for gang mounting into different quantities of valves. Any combination of normally closed, normally open or universal valves may be grouped together.

Manual Reset Valves: These are standard 2-way, 3-way and 4-way 2-position valves that use a manual reset assembly in replacement of the solenoid. They are designed to prevent inadvertent valve startup in their designed failure modes. These series are available in no voltage release, electrically tripped, and free handle constructions as well as latched open or latched closed for 2-way valves.

Medical/Analytical: ASCO Miniature general service, isolation, pinch, and proportional valves are utilized for the precise and reliable control of liquids and gases in medical equipment and analytical instrumentation.

ASCO S Series: These are developed and engineered with ASCO's global resources. ASCO S is a compact solution for 2-way, 3-way and steam valve applications and can operate in 15°F to 125°F ambient temperature locations. This solution includes DIN connection for easy wiring, compact brass bodies and encapsulated coils. Options include 15" leads, alternate elastomers, manual operators, and mounting brackets.

Hydramotor H113 Series Double Block Valve

The patent pending design of the Hydramotor incorporates a single aluminum body containing two distinct shutoff valves and one new watertight Hydramotor actuator. An optional and patent pending Posi-Prove system dynamically tests valve seal tightness and conducts a self-check automatically upon system startup.

The patent pending double block valve design of the Hydramotor H113 incorporates the following unique features:

  • Two shut-off valves within a single body reduces gas train length and cost.
  • Two independent operating shafts accomplish valve closure.
  • Unique flange design makes installation and maintenance easy.
  • Inlet screen prevents debris from obstructing valve closure and improves seal life.
  • Manual tester or optional Posi-Prove system verifies seat closure integrity.
  • Visual position indication of both valves is standard.
  • Standard valve construction uses silicone-free lubricants.
  • Wide range of pipe sizes 3/4" through 3".
  • Maximum operating pressure differential up to 25 PSI.

The new Hydramotor actuator incorporates two separate means of releasing the actuator shaft when de-energized. The actuator enclosure meets Watertight, Dusttight, Driptight and General Purpose requirements and eliminates the cost associated with stocking separate actuators.

ITT General Controls Combustion Valves

The ITT General Solenoid valves are designed to control the flow of fuel gases in industrial and commercial gas burner systems. The Hydramotor H117 Fuel Gas Valve is a normally closed coombination of Hydramotor actuator and safety shutoff/control gas valve. It Is used for commercial and industrial burners in applications such as furnaces, dryers, dehydrators, conversion burners and heaters.

The cast iron valve body provides high flow and self cleaning operation. Its soft synthetic seat and integral, heavy-duty return spring close the valve tigthly upon current interruption, in one second or less.

The Hydramotor H117 is self-contained, hermetically sealed, electrohydraulic actuator provides an output force of 200 pounds. It consists of a motor/pump unit immersed in oil, reducing wear and the need for service, and a pull-type piston.

Hydramotor Fuel Gas Valves H137

The Hydramotor H137 Fuel Gas Valve is a two-way, normally closed, safety shutoff valve providing trouble free, electrohydraulic, on-off control of combustion gas for boilers, industrial furnaces, dryers, dehydrators, large conversion burners, air heaters and similar applications.

The self contained Hydramotor actuator is a powerful, pull-type, hydraulic ram providing output force of 1400 pounds to fully open the valve. Upon current interruption, dual redundant relief valves dump hydraulic pressure, closing the valve in one second. The hydramotor H137 consists of a motor/pump unit immersed in oil, reducing wear and the need for service.

The Hydramotor H137 is a cast iron-bodied valve with Nitrile seat and aluminium trim. Pulling force from the Hydramotor actuator moves a lever (providing mechanical advantage) against spring and gas pressure to open the soft seated flap, allowing straight-through gas flow.

Each Hydramotor H137 is equipped with one standard SPDT switch, which actuates at the fully-open (energized) position. The H137 Valve is equipped with a valve seal overtravel interlock switch which can be wired into the startup or pre-ignition interlock circuit to permit supervision of the valve's closed position (FM Proof of Closure).

ITT General Controls Shutoff Gas Valves

ITT General Controls Safety Shutoff Gas Valves come in different types.

K3A4&5 series two-way, normally closed, direct-operated solenoid gas valves provide on-off control of fuel gas flow in commercial and industrial combustion equipment applications.

K3A 4&5 valves are available in line sizes up to 1" NPT, operating pressures up to 10 psi, and operating voltages up to 240 VAC, and are tested and approved as safety shutoff valves by IAS (an AGA and CGA joint venture) FMRC and UL.

The K3A4&5 series solenoid valves utilize Nitrile sealing components and a spring-loaded plunger to assure tight shutoff, a die-cast aluminum valve body and bonnet for durability, and a 10-watt epoxy-encapsulated Class F moisture- and fungus-resistant coil for longevity. The coil housing rotates 360 degrees dor ease wiring.

K3A6 Pilot Operated and K3A7 Direct Operated Solenoid Gas Valves provide on-off control of fuel gas flow in commercial and industrial combustion applications. S261 Safety Shutoff Valves are pilot operated, diaphragm type solenoid valves, commonly used for safety shutoff of condensate-free combustible gases.

SV311 Series Pilot Shutoff Gas Valves are direct acting shutoff valves and designed to control the flow of fuel gas to the pilot of commercial and industrial gas burners. In the event of power interruption they close automatically.

Hydramotor Gas Valve AH8 / V710

The Hydramotor Gas Valve AH8 / V710 is a proportioning control with low fire positioning. It is a line voltage actuator which permits limit and safety controls to be wired directly into line voltage power circuit. The Hydramotor AH8 provides adjustable low fire positioning and proportioning control between low and high fire positions. It is a modulating, push-type, self-contained and electrohydraulic linear actuator. It features an electronic controller
for accurate positioning. The low-fire position is factory set at the stroke midpoint. It can be field adjustable to any position up to 100% of stroke.

 

The Hydramotor AH8 / V710 has a safety shutoff and proportioning control with low fire positioning in one unit. It is an integral transformer, provides simplified and is less costly wiring. The AH8 has a mechanical low fire adjustment which is made externally while actuator is energized. The AH8/V710 actuator must be mounted in the upright position.
